The Missing Thanks

I am starting a series of sermons on Giving Thanks.  This is the month of November which holds the National Holiday Thanksgiving and known as the season of Thanksgiving.  But, everyday is a day of thanksgiving.  As Christians giving thanks should be an every moment, day, week, month and year mind set.  When we give thanks it shows we acknowledge what was has been done, we accept what has been done and we appreciate what has been done.  People fail or miss out on giving thanks because the don’t see what has been done, they don’t want to make the sacrifice to give thanks and will not submit to say someone did something for them.

Jesus healed 10 lepers and only one came back to give praise or thanks.  Jesus asked where are the nine.  That shows Jesus expects thanks to be given when something is done.  Are you giving thanks as you should for all that has been done.  Or is thanks missing in your life.  Don’t allow rocks to cry out in your place.  Give God thanks for all He has done, is doing and will do.

For The Kingdom,

Pastor B.
