In Remembrance Of Him

Jesus told his disciples to take bread to represent His body and the juice of the grape vine to represent His blood to remember his sacrificial death. As often as we do this Paul says we declare Jesus Death.

The Church has many things they do saying it is to remind them of Jesus. But we must always hold on to what Jesus commanded us to do in order to remember Him. The bread was broken just as Jesus body was broken. The juice came by being crushed and shared, just as Jesus blood came through the nails in His hands, feet and head and shed for all.

Let’s not lose focus by things that really don’t remind us of what Jesus did. But, seek to earnestly do that which is really In Remembrance Of Him.
